Working Student (m/f/d) – IT & Network Infrastructure

Start: As soon as possible
Working hours: Up to 20 hours/week on-site
Location: Katernberger Str. 107 | 45327 Essen, Germany

Your Responsibilities

• You will act as our internal contact and coordinator for all IT-related topics, working closely with our external IT service provider. You’ll collect internal requirements, communicate them effectively, oversee implementations, and ensure smooth cooperation between our team and the provider

• Design, setup, and maintenance of Unifi-based networks for our on-site edge devices

• Support in the setup and security of VPN connections and other network security topics

• Documentation of IT setups and support in improving internal IT standards and processes

Your Profile

• You are currently enrolled in a degree program in computer science, IT security, network administration, or a related technical field

• You are interested in hands-on IT work – ideally, you already have some experience with Unifi, VPNs, and Linux systems

• You are a strong communicator who can coordinate technical topics both internally and with external service providers

• You are a structured, solution-oriented and have a hands-on mentality

• You have good verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
